Between sacrificed brotherhood and forbidden passion, Castor & Pollux deploys all the power of lyrical tragedy in an opera-ballet. Rameau's virtuoso music subtly embraces the torments of an intense psychological drama, in which Pollux, son of the gods, confronts his immortality to save his mortal brother.
In a subtle dialogue between voice and body, Leonardo García Alarcón and his Cappella Mediterranea join forces with choreographer Edward Clug to trace the path of universal, triumphant brotherhood.
