CASTOR & POLLUX
Bâtiment des Forces Motrices
from Thursday, 19 March 2026 to Sunday, 29 March 2026
Bâtiment des Forces Motrices
Between sacrificed brotherhood and forbidden passion, Castor & Pollux deploys all the power of lyrical tragedy in an opera-ballet. Rameau's virtuoso music subtly embraces the torments of an intense psychological drama, in which Pollux, son of the gods, confronts his immortality to save his mortal brother.
In a subtle dialogue between voice and body, Leonardo García Alarcón and his Cappella Mediterranea join forces with choreographer Edward Clug to trace the path of universal, triumphant brotherhood.

Bâtiment des Forces Motrices
Puccini's opera, the world's most performed masterpiece, tells the story of a geisha who renounces everything for the love of an American sailor. The only witness to the drama, the fruit of their love seems to confirm the adage: the truth comes out of the children's mouths!

200 MOTELS
Bâtiment des Forces Motrices
from Thursday, 18 June 2026 to Sunday, 28 June 2026
Bâtiment des Forces Motrices
No need to drop everything to follow your favorite rock band, 200 Motels arrives with a bang on the GTG stage. Zappa's hallucinatory diary of a madcap tour spins his sonic laboratory to the rhythm of an acid satire of show business. A legendary mockumentary with a surreal aesthetic, his fragmented narrative unmasks the chaos of 70s rock.

Because we love putting the Grand Théâtre in afterwork mode, please welcome the Apérovisite: a hybrid between the traditional Guided Tour and the Apéropéra. Marvel at our Murano glass or Léon Gaud’s gaudy frescoes, sure, but have a drink with that. Our marble halls and our gilded chimneypieces are so much more thrilling with a glass of Viognier. Apérovisite will only take place three times this season, so save those dates!

BIBLIOPÉRA
Bibliothèque de la Cité
from Sunday, 11 January 2026 to Sunday, 19 April 2026
Bibliothèque de la Cité
Because we don't do public workshops on Saturdays any more, but we don't want to sit on our hands waiting for you to take an interest in what we're doing, or simply waiting for the good weather, and also because our partners at the bibliothèque de la Cité are not slacking off on Sundays, we're taking advantage of our 'hors les murs' time to introduce you to this new format, halfway between a workshop and a conference, always ahead of our premieres, between doing and learning, know-how and knowledge, come and (re-)discover your talents and interests. It's free, but you need to register!
